Widely praised for its response to hand tools, power tools, and all woodworking procedures. Yellowish brown to reddish or orange brown. Generally straight grained but is prized for its figures which include stripe, roe, curly, blister, fiddleback, and mottle. Wood grain and color may vary from images. Requires sanding sealer coat prior to staining. Milled size, after smoothing, is 1.25" x 1.25".
